This brilliant piece of software should get you hooked! 3D Movie Maker is clearly aimed at kids, but beyond it's twee exterior is a truely expansive tool which is more sophisticated than first meets the eye. Even developments of it do not hold a candle to this gem.

The lack of praise this program seems to have had is absolutley obscene. It's been well over fifteen years since it's release, and whilst the graphics are undeniably dated, that doesn't matter a bit when the software is still masterful and ridiculously fun. The saddest thing now is that it has become a rarity judging from the relatively steep price tag.
