PARIAN

FIGURE OF A YOUNG LADY

 

 Here is a beautiful  Parian figurine of a young lady sitting, holding a book. She is only  just over 3.25" (88mm) high. I do not know how old she is and I would welcome any information.

There are one or two dark marks where perhaps someone started to paint her ??  I do have other pictures and close-ups, so please ask. The only identification mark is an incissed  number on her back - 4248. (see pictures)  She is translucent when held up to a light.  

Condition - Two tiny flake chips on her bonnet. (see picture) that do not detract.  No other damage or any restoration.

PLEASE NOTE - I WILL BE UNAVALIABLE FROM 26th MAY - 31ST MAY - SO WILL CONCLUDE THE SALE AFTER THAT DATE. SORRY IF THIS IS INCONVENIENT.
