Memory Map CD with Southern England and Wales CAA airmap. Includes both 1:250,000 and 1:50,000 scale CAA aircharts; detailed layout/plans of most of the UK's airfields (approx 98 in all) plus a UK route planner and sample maps of the UK road network/route planner.

THIS SOFTWARE WAS BOUGHT IN ERROR. I AM UNABLE TO USE IT SO IT IS OFFERED FOR RESALE STARTING AT 99p.

Here is what the previous seller said about it - "As for the registration screen, bear in mind that the CD includes CAA maps and a Free Viewer. By definition this does not require a licence, serial number or registration key. However, you can only access basic functionality. If you choose to 'upgrade' to a licence or buy another product with a full viewer version e.g. 1:50k OS, then this will come with a serial number. If you visit the Memory Map website this number can be used to generate a licence key. If these two bits of data are then entered into the welcome screen this will 'unlock' GPS, PDA and printing functionality."

I understand that the software works with any Windows based device but the buyer will have to be a registered Memory Map user to access the full functionality of the maps, charts, airfield data etc. I believe that this airmap software can be used as the basis for preparing own local airmaps to print locally rather than carry a full size map with areas you're unlikely to fly in.

This airmap is edition 29 so it is not a current map. However, a lot of airspace has not changed and I understand that the map can be amended by the user to include any updates. Buyer MUST make sure that they have added any subsequent revisions to the map before using it. No guarantee of accuracy is given and the responsibility for airspace compliance rests with the user.

Offered for sale on the basis that I am unable use this software so I cannot answer any questions as to how to use it. No responsibility is accepted by the seller for any inaccuracies in the map or description.
