PARAGON FOX UMBRELLA PARASOL SILK

Paragon Fox Ivory Silk Parasol

Diameter of the parasol is 32.5".

The frame has 16 spokes each tipped with ivory coloured cap

which matches the end of the handle with ivory coloured rings.

The handle is black wood with a mink coloured tassle.

There are 3 labels inset on the spokes.

1st -' S. Fox & Co. Ltd.'

2nd and 3rd - 'Paragon' +picture of 'Fox'.

The parasol and frame are in excellent condition considering it's age.

FAULTS - There are dark marks on the silk where the spokes meet the frame and

they are more visible from inside the parasol.

The handle is black wood and broke many years ago.  It snapped in two,

the handle attached to the umbrella was rubbed down, like a pencil, and inserted into

a black tube which was then attached to the base of the handle.  The black tube has

a split in it but it does join the handle together.
