The events of 1927 and 1928 in Greece and abroad are presented in this episode. In Greece, the Greek government gives the permission to ANGELOS and EVA SIKELIANOU to revive the first DELPHIC FESTIVALS with the production of “Prometheus Bound”, filmed by GAZIADIS brothers (May 1927). The Constitution which was voted on the 3rd of June 1927, the coalition government (12 August 1927), the fact that the Bank of Greece raised a loan for the needs of the refugee problem, the fall of the coalition government, the overwhelming victory of ELEFTHERIOS VENIZELOS at the elections (19 August 1927), as well as the disastrous earthquake of 22 April 1928, which causes an acute problem to the already problematic economy of the country dominate in the political scene. The social-democrat HERMAN? MULLER becomes the new Chancellor of GERMANY and HITLER expresses the new tendencies. As to art, the presentation of the film “BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN” by SERGEI EISENSTEIN is forbidden and the sports event of 1928 are the successful Olympic Games in AMSTERDAM of HOLLAND.
