With this interface, the Panasonic Toughbook is a sophisticated diagnostic computer fully compatible with OBD OBDII EOBD
compliant protocols including the latest CAN-BUS. This works with all petrol cars from 2001 and Diesel cars from 2004. Some
Some cars like Fords, petrol Volvos (not 850s), Vauxhalls, Chrysler/Jeep and Jaguar were compliant from 1997.
Earlier cars that do not have the OBDII 16-pin socket will have a range of manufacturer specific interfaces requiring
bespoke plugs, and sometimes, software. Included in this Full Kit are a range of cables for the most common cars, like
Mercedes-Benz, BMW, AUDI, SKODA, VOLKSWAGEN, and SEAT. Typically this specific interfaces will be for these
manufacturers cars made from the mid-1990s to 2001, but you may require additional hardware for these older cars.
