A pair of georgian silver dessert forks in the fiddle pattern. Very good condition, no dents, creases or repairs. Initialled "JW" in script to the reverse of the terminal. Tines are long, sharp and even, some very slight wear associated with age and usage. Clean, clear and well struck hallmarks, makers stamp a little overpolished. A good pair of Georgian dessert forks in this pattern.

Hallmarks; Lion passant, leopards head for London, date letter "p" for 1830, Regent's head.

Makers stamp; WB for Willam Bateman.

Length; 17.5 cms (justunder 7 inches). Weight; 94.6 grams 3.04oz.
