Appearance & Subject: This is a fabulous pair of pottery

vases by Crown Ducal, made for Rington's Tea.

The vases are in the "Little Pedro" design, and they are

rectangular with rounded edges, and a circular pedestal

foot.

The vases are decorated with a transfer print design of a

young boy with a Mexican sombrero with a donkey standing

within a Mexican scene.

The donkey has two large pottery jars on its back, and there

is another on the ground next to the boy. Perhaps they have

been to fetch the water.

It is a colourful design and decoration continues around the

sides and back of the vases with little bits of grape vine, small

cactus, and more of then large pottery jars.

They display wonderfully.

These vases were made as a promotional item for

Rington's Tea, and they date to the 1960's.

Condition: Practically Perfect / Excellent.

There are no chips, no cracks or restoration, and there

no major manufacturing flaws.

There are some minor surface marks and scratches,

which are minor signs of their age.

to keep unsold items packed). You may pay this set
