Another limited edition print from the angelic series of Lydon Fine Art, “Purity” is a very richly coloured ode to this ancient image of the Madonna and child.

The original abstract that this image is fused with is embedded with chamomile heads, rosebuds and petals. The intense surface texture of the abstract is brought forward by the divine light above the heads of both subjects which injects a feeling of fresh energy into so pure a subject as this.
