Over 1,100 women and girls within Oxfordshire play netball for a local team. It’s a great way to keep fit, escape from the stresses of everyday life and make new friends!

However netball in Oxfordshire is really struggling. There are currently 24 clubs in the county, but many of these clubs are unable to take on more players because there just isn’t enough court space. Many of the courts we currently use are in very poor condition with slippery and often dangerous surfaces. There are few courts that are floodlit and so playing time is limited particularly in the winter months.

The good news is that the County Netball Association has been working on a proposal for a site at Court Place Farm, Marston, Oxford.

Planning permission has been granted for six floodlit netball courts and changing facilities. All profits from this calendar will be going towards this project.

Also our lovely ladies - all netballers – from Abingdon Centre, Abingdon Ladies, John Radcliffe, Kidlington, Oxford Science Park, Witney and Vale. Some were a bit more nervous than others about stripping off but they all look gorgeous. Thanks girls, we couldn’t have done this without you!
