The Helios is so innovative it skips generations in how a fly rod should feel, cast, and fish. It is so sublimely light, incredibly responsive, deadly accurate, and just plain easy and enjoyable to cast that to compare it to other graphite rods is like comparing graphite to bamboo. There is no comparison. The Helios is that good. And everyone is noticing.

This combination comes with a Battenkill Bar Stock II Reel in Titanium finish, spooled with Generation 3 WF5F Wonderline, and an additional empty spool.  The reel and spool were some of the last made in England.

8' 6" ; 5 Weight; 4 Piece; Mid Flex 6.5 with Battenkill Bar Stock Reel, line, and spare spool.

This particular rod/reel was used once.  The rod still has the warranty card and will carry the Orvis 25 year warranty.  The rod, reel, and spool all have original cases and socks, and are in excellent condition.  A lightly used Orvis M2 locking mini fly box also comes with the package.  The original retail price is $1025.
