The art glass studio Daum in the french town of Nancy was one of the most famous art glass studios in its time. Starting with objects of everyday use the studio soon developed their own artisan style. On the worldexhibition in 1900 they reached international recognition.

This cure little bowl has a marvelous lightgreen coulour and the a light pink finish on the blossom. On the bottom there i a sign "Daum France".

Die Firma Daum im französischen Nancy war eine der bekanntesten Glashütten ihrer Zeit. Anfangs nur auf Gebrauchsgegenstände ausgerichtet entwickelte die Glashütte Daum in Nancy ihren eigenen unverkennbaren Stil. Auf der Weltausstellung im Jahr 1900 erlangte sie dann auch internationales Ansehen.

Diese kleine Schale zeichnet sich durch ihre wunderbar zartgrüne Färbung und den leichten violetten Abschluss an den Blütenblättern aus. Sie ist am Boden mit "Daum France" signiert.
