Original Signed print H. Goffey 1871-1951 Horses Barn

Here I have a STUNNING Original old print pencil signed by the artist 'Harry Goffey', I dont know much about it only that it has been in the family a lifetime - I am totally modernising the house and having a BIG CLEAROUT

- MEASURES approx. 23.5"wide x 19" length, including frame (and print 15.5" wide x 11.5" length) - IT IS SIGNED AT BOTTOM RIGHT

 - EXCELLENT CONDITION for age - A TIMELESS CLASSIC PICTURE - WOULD LOOK GREAT ON ANY WALL

(after looking H. Goffey up,  I found some information on him: (very interesting!!)

"Harry Goffey, Liverpool born was a keen amateur sailor in his youth. He often sailed across to the Isle of Man and perhaps to Ireland. At Warrenpoint, Co. Down Northern Ireland in 1893 he rescued the son of a Presbyterian minister from drowning and received Royal Hummane Society's Bronze Medal"

After this episode his life went from strength to strength, he met his future wife, Elinor Semple (from another Liverpool family,)  and both became students at

Bushey School of Art studying under Hubert von Herkomer. This is him:
