Original School Cane

An old, original cane dating from around 1970.

This is a lovely rattan, with lovely characteristics. Very whippy, very controllable and it has a very nasty sting. It measures 31 1/4 inches long and is a shade under 8mm diameter, measured at the tip.

This is a typical school cane from the period. It has a deep golden patina, consistant with age and it is in very nice condition. And it has a classic crook handle, small and neat.

This is a vibrant cane, hold it in your hand and you can feel it wants to get to work.

Sold as a collectors item.
