Description
The top of this bureau has 4 leaves of book-matched crown cut walnut which is further decorated with a feather inlay and crossbanding. This feature is continued on the fall, freize or 'waist' and drawers. The drawers are oak lined with chunky dovetailing at both ends, all have working locks. The fall opens top reveal a fitted interior with pilaster compartments and a concealed well is revealed by sliding back the centre panel. Dimesions : Height 39 x Width 36 x Depth 20 Inches

Condition Report
At some point in its recent past this bureau has been repolished, we have gently cleaned this back and waxed it with renaissance wax. We also believe the door on the central compartment in the fitted interior has been replaced. The handles are original as are the bracket feet, there are no signs of any other replacements. This item is antique and character marks can be seen due to the age. Items are purchased as seen on the photographs. Whilst we make every endeavor to point out if there is any major damage, woodworm, restoration work, we cannot point out every ding, dent or mark, after all, if you were over 100 years old you might have a few battle wounds and scars on show.

Collection - We will warmly welcome anyone wishing to collect or view the furniture in our workshop showroom but may we request that you call us a few days prior, just in case it is in our store or located in our high street shop.

Delivery - United Kingdom Deliveries: Exeter/Plymouth area £30.00 delivered by ourselves. Outside this area - £80.00 U.K. mainland only. . For Highlands, Islands and other hard to reach areas there may be an additional cost. Please contact us prior to bidding if you think this may apply to you. We use professional furniture carriers - Larger pieces of furniture will be delivered by two men and where possible, positioned in your home where you require.

Packing and Insurance - Your item will be packaged to protect it in transit. For your further piece of mind all deliveries are fully insured in transit and during delivery.
