What do we mean by refurbished?
This simply means that it is has been returned to our warehouse in full working order, has then been tested and prepared for resale (missing accessories replaced, packed in new packaging etc). It may, however have very slight surface marks as you would expect from unpacking and repacking anything.

Guarantee

How much will postage and packaging cost me?
We are pleased to pass on our P&P savings on some of lighter items to you. If you are only purchasing one low cost, light item, you will only pay £2.95 for standard P&P. If you order multiple items from our standard range, you will still never pay more than £6.95 per order for standard P&P. We are pleased to offer this service on a sliding price scale, saving you money on lower cost and lighter items, however we do have a very small number of products that require a delivery cost higher than the standard £4.95. These higher priced postage costs will be clearly visible in the shopping basket during the checkout process. When available, you will be able to select our Next Day service when you are entering your delivery address during the basket checkout process.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
Standard delivery is 5-7 working days (but often quicker), subject to availability, and we also offer a next working day delivery option. Please note the cut-off time to order for next day working delivery is 3pm.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
Delivery dates cannot be completely guaranteed - we aim to deliver our products to you within 5-7 working days, but occasionally this is not possible. If you have not received your product within 10 working days please contact our customer services team.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Anglesey and Republic of Ireland?
We deliver to all UK addresses with a postcode, including Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, and Anglesey. What happens if I’m not in when you deliver?
Most of our products are dispatched by our nominated carrier and will usually require a valid signature as proof of delivery (POD).
If you are not in when your goods arrive by courier, a card will be put through your door giving details of the attempted delivery, and giving contact details for the courier company. If this fails, the goods will be returned to JML.

Delivery

On occasion we will not be able to guarantee a delivery date; however, we will make every reasonable effort to ensure that goods are delivered within 28 days of being ordered.

Availability
All orders are accepted subject to stock availability. Where you have ordered several products and not all are in stock, we may send you the products which are available; we will send the remainder of your order as soon as the stock becomes available.
If the goods ordered are out of stock, we will contact you within 30 days from the day after your order was placed. If the goods are coming back into stock, we will propose a new delivery date or, with your agreement, we may be able to supply you with substitute goods.
If we have received payment from you for goods out of stock, or you do not wish to wait for goods to become available, and/or decline our offer of substitute goods, we will refund any monies due within 7 days of receiving your instructions.
Value Added Tax (VAT)

Right to Cancel

Cancellation & Returns
Provided the goods are returned in good condition and not used we will issue a refund within 7 days. Should you wish to return a product to us, send it to our returns address at JML, East Side, Port of Tyne Authority, Tyne Dock, South Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE33 5SP. If you are cancelling because there is a fault with the product, clearly state details of the fault. We will meet the cost of returning the product or products to us if the goods are faulty or incorrect by issuing you with a cheque. For all other cancellations, you must return the goods to us at your cost.
All returns should be sent via the Post Office. If you are returning a product or products, please ensure they are returned safely in or with the original shipping box and packaging materials.
We will not be held responsible for meeting the cost of returning product(s) by any other method. We are unable to refund hygiene products that have been opened or used. Hygiene products include pants, tights, earrings, personal beauty products and creams.
Statutory Rights
To obtain a refund, you must return the goods to us in the same condition as they arrived. So that there is no doubt, anything we say above in relation to returns, does not apply to any claim that the goods do not meet a standard required by law. Therefore if the goods are faulty or were damaged in transit, we will cover the postage costs.
Liability
If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery, or refund you with the amount paid for the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to limit our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
Safety Advice
For your own safety we recommend that you read carefully all safety information printed either on the packaging, or in any leaflets that may be included with the product. For electrical products always check the power cable and plug for any signs of damage. Always consult a qualified electrician and never attempt to repair any product yourself.
Errors
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information supplied is correct at the time of publishing. 
Warranties
JML Direct agrees to provide the extended warranty described herein (the Warranty). JML Direct's sole liability shall be to provide to the original purchaser (the purchaser), the necessary labour and parts, as described below, to correct defects in workmanship and materials for an additional period of two (2) years starting from the expiry date of the standard product warranty of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.
1.Labour : For a period of two (2) additional years from the end of the original twelve (12) month warranty period, JML Direct will repair defects to the product at no charge to the purchaser. The warranty is made to the purchaser only.
2. Parts : For a period of two (2) additional years from the end of the original twelve (12) month warranty period, JML Direct will supply, new or rebuilt, at JML Direct's discretion, replacement parts in exchange for defective parts. Any replacement parts will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty period by JML Direct's authorised service facility. The purchaser is only responsible for return shipping / postage costs to the repair centre. All defective parts replaced under this warranty will become the property of JML Direct. In the event that part(s) or unit replacement is not available, JML Direct will, at it’s discretion, replace the original product with one of a similar type, of equal or greater value, or refund the purchaser with a sum not exceeding the original product purchase price, less the cost of postage and packing.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic faults such as scratches or damage to trim or associated marks caused by normal use of the product. The warranty is also void if the manufacturer's instructions have not been followed or if the product has been subject to misuse or any modifications.
The warranty is non-transferable and is only valid in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
The warranty number shown on the front of this certificate, must be quoted when the product is returned for servicing, in order to be handled under the terms and conditions of this warranty. Verification of this warranty is undertaken by checking the original purchase records of the purchaser, before any remedial work is undertaken. Failure of verification will result in the rejection of the warranty service. In this instance the product, at JML Direct’s sole discretion, will be returned to the said purchaser.

Cancellation and Guarantee
You have a right to cancel your contract with us at any time up to seven days after the date of delivery to you by following the returns procedure set out below.
Additionally, we offer a 30-day right to return for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund, excluding postage, other than in relation to hygiene products that have been opened or used. Hygiene products include underwear, tights, earring personal beauty products and creams. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns

If you are returning the product because there is a fault with it or the order is incorrect, we will ask you to return the product to us via the post office and in that case we will meet the cost of postage as long as a receipt is provided. Please use the returns address provided below. For all other returns, you must return the product to us at your cost. For all returns, please use the original shipping box and packaging materials ensuring that your package is wrapped securely. You must take reasonable care of products that you receive where you either cancel the contract or return the products for a refund. You cannot cancel a contract for the purchase of products which by their nature cannot easily be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

What should I do if I have received damaged or incomplete goods?

You will be entitled to a replacement, exchange or a full refund including the cost of postage. We will either send our courier to collect the items or ask you to return them to us via the Royal Mail - we will cover the cost of you doing so - although we will not be held responsible for meeting the cost of return by another method.
