A stunning framed card painting entitled MIRAGE. This great picture of rolling countryside is an original encaustic art item produced by Anita Jackson in St. Levan, Cornwall.

Encaustic art is a modern version of the ancient art of picture making with melted wax... the result is stunning and looks almost like oil painting.

Framed item measures 9.5" x 7.5".

Excellent condition.

Has original label to reverse and the artist's incised initials to the front of the painting.

A truly unique and unusual item - would make a superb Christmas gift.
