An original piece of Chewbacca hair used in the production of the George Lucas classic Star Wars. This incredibly rare Chewie hair is made up of many different strands of colour and was brought in small rolls onto set everyday to be applied where necessary to the Wookie. It comes with an original colour photograph of the character. Both items come custom framed in a glazed display, on a laser cut mount board with the film title. Display measures 49cm x 42cm (19" x 16.5"). The Chewbacca hair comes directly from Stuart Freeborn the legendary make-up and creature effects artist who created many of the famous characters from the original trilogy of movies including Yoda, Chewbacca and Greedo. The hair also comes with a signed letter from Stuart detailing its history. A portion of the profits from this sale will be donated to ‘Cancer Research UK’ Stuart and Kay’s charity of choice.
