A superb evocative print for Biba enthusiasts.
The poster was designed and photographed by iconic Sixties photographer James Wedge to be sold in Barbara Hulanicki's cult London store in 1974 at the height of its popularity. However the store went bankrupt and the posters never came on the market.
After being in storage for over 30 years it still reflects the mood of the Biba era. Well known for its pioneering new style; for mixing the contemporary with the Art Nouveau, Art Decor and the Golden Age of Hollywood. Biba played a major part in making London the most fashionable city in the world.
Guaranteed original. This is not a later reprint from the 80s with a glossy finish.
Has been kept flat.
