Original Bakelite case for USSR Jupiter 9 lens RARE

You are bidding for an original Bakelite case for a Russian Jupiter 9 lens.

Lack of space forces the sale of much of my lens collection.  This lens case is an almost impossible to find item, especially in this unscathed condition.  It is the original Bakelite case from my own Jupiter 9 lens which is now functionally stored for regular use in a more modern system.  This case bears the embossed logo on the base and two overlapping original labels on the lid.  It has several scratches and scuffs externally, but is completely intact and without any missing pieces or cracks whatsoever.  The friction twist-lock function of the lid fitting still engages securely.  For the collector this case will add much value to an uncased Jupiter 9.  This item will be especially securely packed for despatch.
