Original Art Deco Bur Walnut TV Hi-Fi Storage Cabinet

Description:
This is a fabulous burr walnut original Art Deco side cabinet.  The cabinet stands on a figured walnut blind plinth rising over which is a classic Deco period curved end with a double cupboard base with a single shelf over and an open shelf rising above this.  To the left hand side is a full height cupboard set in a walnut frame with matched burr walnut veneers to the door matching the veneers to the main frame and the lower cupboard.  Behind the large door are two fitted shelves and a single fitted drawer.  Behind the curved doors in the lower section is a single removable shelf.  At some period the piece almost certainly has been used as a TV / Hi-Fi cabinet as there is a circular cut-out to the back, this not affecting the piece structurally but worth a mention. The cabinet retains its original handles and escutcheons to both the doors and drawer. The cabinet comes complete with a working key to the curved door section, the taller door section having had a later ball catch fitted, the lock could be repaired or replaced, but is not in working order at present.

The cabinet dates circa 1920 - 1930.

Condition:
The cabinet is in good original condition for its age with minor wear to leading edges consistent with age and authenticity.
