This is a painting from the South of France, Barcares, near Perpignan, by Scottish artist and sculptor Alan Lees.  The picture is in Acrylics on board, and measures 20 inches by 16 inches. There's a lovely quality about the light in this one - that time at the very end of summer when the sun is still shining but the wind is chilly!

All pictures are unframed, unless stated otherwise in the listing. This, plus the fact that fees are reasonably low for online listings (unlike gallery fees, which tend to be rather high) all helps to keep our prices and postage to a minimum. The result of this is that you can buy a piece of original art for less than the price of a print. Offers are welcome but please do make them realistic - our prices are already very low but some of these pieces are larger and more detailed than others. The creation of this one took a huge amount of time, which is reflected in the higher price.  

International customers are most welcome but please note that you should be able to pay by PayPal. I cannot accept dollar cheques. Otherwise Sterling Cheques or Postal Orders are fine.
