GTD ORIGINAL, VINTAGE *EDWARDIAN ERA* Circa 1915-1919, *FAIREST OF THEM ALL* FRENCH NORMANDY LACE BOUDOIR PILLOW, *RARE TO FIND* With this LAVISH CENTER ORNAMENT of SILK ORGANZA ROSE BLOSSOMS and HAND-MADE ROSE BUDS,Along with TIFFANY-BLUE FORGET-ME-NOTS and SAGE GREEN SILK GAUZE LEAVES. This Piece is ASTOUNDINGLY BEAUTIFUL, The FILET LACES are ALL HAND-MADE, *PLUS* HAND-EMBROIDERED IRISH-CROCHET TYPE PUFFY LEAVES Vine Thru the Center, All of this on the FINEST TULLE NET SHAM, Trimmed around the Perimeter in EARLY CHANTILLY LACE. The EDGES of this Pillow are Trimmed in the Palest DUSTY LILAC, ROSE PINK & SAGE GREEN TULLE BORDERS, Layered around the Edges and Hand-Sewn onto the Sham. Pillow measures 14 1/2" High including the ruffle, 22" Wide including ruffle, side to side. The BACK of the Pillow is All-Fine Silk, Completely HAND-SEWN. This Sham is Set around the Original BLUSH PINK SILK PILLOW, the Edges are Hand-Basted, There is a tiny area at one corner where the basting is loose, so I can peek in and see the pretty pillow inside, it too is Silk Covered with an Early Jacquard Pattern. This Piece has MIRACULOUSLY SURVIVED with NO noteworthy damage, I don't see any noteworthy holes or tears in the Fine Tulle or Lace, AMAZING. There's a small clustered stain at the backside silk, minor, and of course, it looks like a tea-dyed piece just from the aging of this fabric over the years.
