Oriental Style Carved Camphor wood Box / Coffer
This good quality Oriental style camphor wood box is a very decorative piece, and it would look great wherever situated.
The carved top is superbly detailed, and when raised a wonderful aroma is emitted from the naturally finished camphor wood lined interior.
The carved front is of no exception to the level of detail that this box exhibits, while an intricately detailed brass plate further enhances it's appearance, and the exposed dovetails on all four corners really do emphasise how well made it is.
The sides have inset handles which enable the box to be carried, and casters have been fitted to the bottom at some stage to allow it to be manoeuvred easily, however they could easily be removed if preferred.
The condition is good, with only minor marks of use to mention, including some small dings in the edges of the framework, and a small area of the back has some loss of polish.
The height excluding the casters measures 19 1/4 inches.
The width measures 40 inches.
The depth measures 20 inches.
The interior measures 13 inches high (16 inches including the inside of the lid), 37 1/2 inches wide, and 17 inches deep.

This item cannot be posted as it is too large and fragile. We carry out all deliveries in person, and each item of furniture is fully insured from the time of it's purchase to the time of it's delivery.
We deliver to most parts of mainland UK, but we advise that you request a quote for delivery before placing a bid or making a purchase so you are fully aware of the cost. We will combine multiple purchases to reduce delivery costs, and small items will go free with larger items.
We do not allow cash on delivery sorry.
Customers are welcome to collect, but by appointment only as we run an unmanned warehouse.
