only known mat from McLennan & Urquhart

BBCS Cat No.1 (no!) - issued 1955

The mat is printed with the same design on both sides.

There is a pin hole near the top of the "K" and two more near the top star on the right hand side (positional references refer to the displayed image). There is no air staining or other damage to the surface, but there is some marking to the central area on both sides of the mat. The two sides are in pretty much the same condition.

The mat is square, and measures 9.5cm from side to opposite side.

McLennan & Urquhart brewed in Dalkeith, in the Lothian Region of Scotland. It was taken over by Aitchison in 1955, and stopped brewing in 1958.
