Large 4to. 2 Volumes.  Hardback. Text in German. Very many pasted-in b/w photographs - all present as required (including Jesse Owens !). Quite a few colour plates, including a splendid painting of the Hindenberg airship over the Games stadium and other b/w photographs (including Adolf Hitler, with Nazi armband, saluting). No dustwrapper. Blue cloth boards with black titles and gilt bell design on front. Edges scuffed.  Very Good copies.  VERY SCARCE.  All photos appear to be present, although there are 2 unattached photos in the front, but I can't locate where from?  Set No. 1101 out of 1200.  No inscriptions, no foxing.
