Oliver 6 inch centre height 42 inch between centres model 94 medium duty all cast iron construction no 1 morse taper, has a unusual helix tailstock that works very quick and effectively, fitted with a good quality 1 hp single phase motor three speeds 500 rpm 1200 rpm and 3000 rpm. Fitted with a bowl tuning assembly 22.5 inch over the bed 45 dia inches if you have the bottle. the lathe bed is gapped in front of the bed using a face plate you can turn up to 22 inch dia the spindle is the same as the myford ml8 1 inch 8 tpi inboard and out board comes with a nest of face plates, two rests and a nova chuck inboard thread only. Fitted with a rack driven carriage assembly and compound slide rest, giving the machine the capacity to perform very accurate woodturning  and light duty metal turning. the lathe is a little big lathe you can still move it around if needed it does not have the mass of the pattern makers lathes, on the down side it only has three speeds I use it manly on the top speed it will run for hours on end and just get warm and the stop start is iffy cuts out every now and then delivery pallet line £75 UK mainland.
