Labradorite is such a wonderful stone - These beads look Olive Green but when they catch the light you can see flashes of violet, turquoise and sometimes green........... These earrings feature Labradorite beads and Swarovski Crystal in a toning shade (Crystal Vitrail)

Coming from Labrador in Canada there is a super Eskimo legend. It is said that the Northern Lights were once imprisoned in the rocks along the coast of labrador, and then a wandering Eskimo warrior found them and freed most of the lights with a mighty blow of his spear. Some of the lights were still trapped within the stone however, and thus we have today the beautiful mineral known as labradorite. Also.... Labradorite is said to provide quick relief from anxiety, hopelessness and depression, replacing them with enthusiasm, self-confidence and inspiration. It is also so beautiful - it does me the power of good just looking at it.. Just look at that iridescence.................
