Here we have a nice turn of the century schoolhouse type wall clock. I know nothing about clocks but brought this a few years ago,more as a decoration than anything else. Now that I have moved house I have nowhere to use it,hence the sale. The picture makes it look brighter than it actually is.

 It is by "Seikosha" a Japanese firm that I believe exported a lot of these to the USA in the 1900's. A stained wooden case with a restored enamel dial. It has a gong like chime which strikes the half hour. It works but does not keep good time. Comes with pendulum and a key. Sold as seen. a chance to get a popular item at a reasonable price.
