This is Superb 4/4 (full sized, LOB 411 mm) Viola. It offers a very mellow tone with strong resonance, with a deep strong bass, and yet still has a very bright and clear tone in the upper registry.

The violin is hand carved from aged quality tonewoods beautifully figured, on the two piece back, and beautiful medium grained spruce on the top. The sides, neck and scroll, all hand carved from aged maple. It has been delicately inlaid with purfling, and has all genuine ebony pegs and fingerboard, best quality new strings and bridge "Despiau France". The ebony tailpiece, has been fitted with 1 fine tuner, for ease in tuning.

The tone of this viola is superb, with outstanding resonance, and has a very sweet and full sound, deep and rich. Has great projection, and would suite the advanced player. The instrument has no cracks or repairs.

The measurements: body length: 411 cm, stop length: 37,4 cm, upper bout: 19,4 cm, lower bout: 24,4 cm.
