Old Antique Victorian Period, Silver Plated Oval Tureen, made in England, circa 1890s. It has a Splendid Shape and Design, with a lovely Gadrooned Edge and is engraved with C on the Lid. The Crest of the House it came from. The Lid Handle can be removed so that the Lid can be used as a Server as well, see pictures. There are no dents and the Silver Plating has no wear, some marks on the inside caused by cutlery removing food over the years of use. A solidly made Silver Plated Tureen. A lovely item to display on a Dining Room Table Setting. It measures 11 inches or 28 cms by 8 1/2 inches or 21.5 cms by about 3 1/4 inches or 8 cms high, 6 inches or 15 cms to the top of the handle.
