Before I describe this item let me say we have over 6400 total feedbacks with no negatives so you can trust our integrity, efficiency and safe packing ability.Secondly please do not offer to buy it now from me - this will stay on auction until the highest bidder wins it.
This is an old brass and iron skeleton clock needing some attention but looking to be all there except for the suspension rod, pendulum, face and hands.
It stands 13 3/4" high by 8 3/4" wide and is 2 3/4" deep.
It is of high quality with no teeth missing and no discernible wear.
It has an interesting tensioning mechanism for the suspension upper support. The mainspring cylinder end cap has come adrift so I cannot tell if it winds.
The wheel driven by the escape wheel is slightly distorted but looks to be easily straightened without dismantling.
The steel parts have some surface rust.
