Hand Made by Navajo Silversmith FRED THOMPSON

Fred Thompson is a Prolific Navajo Silversmith who began his work with the Historical Tobe Turpen Trading Post at the Tender age of (15). Tobe Turpen Sr. opened his Gallup trading post in 1939 in the building that he purchased from J. L. Hubbell on North Third Street in Gallup NM. Fred Thompson is a noted Navajo Silversmith, in Gregory Schaaf's "American Indian Jewelry" page 306.

This Stunning Hand Made Original Necklace carries 25 Natural Hand Cut Coral stones, set in smooth hand made sterling bezels. Expert Craftsmanship is exhibited throughout this necklace, and features 160 hand made navajo bench beads, and hand made fleur de lis squashes. Circa Mid-Century.

Necklace is 28 inches long with an additional 3 1/4 inch tall by 3 inch wide naja
