Mansfield brewery Co Ltd.
No1 Bottled Beer.
Golden Drop Ale.
Bitter Beer and Mild Ale.
Nice old piece of Mansfield Brewery memorabilia. The ashtray is in good condition, apart from a pin head size dent chip to the right hand side (please see photo below) otherwise there is no damage.The ashtray measures 5 inches square, 1½ inches in height. Backstamped Made in England. Mansfield Brewery was once the largest independent brewer in the UK, established in 1855. Alas Mansfield Brewery is no more, closed down, and buildings now knocked down, gone for ever. Good that this astray lives on, as a nice piece of social history.
