This beautiful old treen case has a wonderful patina of age. Although the label has faded you can still make out the name "The bengal ribbon indian incense", produced by the crown perfumery company.

Measuring 1.75" high, it has a narrow slit in the lid through which the ribbon would of passed, but you could use it to keep silver sixpenses in, although it is a beautiful treen item in its own right. The lid pulls off and there is a beautiful smell which comes from the inside and it is in perfect condition.
