(4oz Bovril Ltd)

The body of this jar is rounded and has 2 flattened sides, whilst the neck is round

The top has a 4 start screw thread

On both sides it has in raised letters:

4oz Bovril Limited

One side also has '324' below the letters

The base has:

This is one of many old bottles I am listing that came from a recent dig at an English Stately Home

Some have damage marks where they were originally thrown into the ground, or where the excavator caught them

Almost all of them will need a good clean

Measures Approx::

3" (7.5cm) high x 2.5" (7cm) x 2" (5cm) at the base
