From the top of a farm house in Iowa. This is a nice old lightning rod ball or globe. It is a pretty amber color. The glass if free from holes or cracks and has a few air bubbles. The ends are lightly rough and do not have caps. Some residue remains inside the ball, not much. It measures 5" hole to hole.
