from Benin (Africa)

It is the representation of an Ife Queen I have been told.

A beautiful statue in good order considering age (small part missing at bottom seen on photo 2)

Very interesting and complicated hairstyle.

Quiet a heavy statue  3KG (hence postage charge)

Measurements: 36 cm (height) 17 cm (width) 20 cm (depth from nose to back of hair)

A lovely item to add to your collection if you like African art.

You will not see many like this one on Ebay.

A: It is 50 pounds with global parcelforce to send it to europe, tracked, with a compensation of £100 in case of loss. This is why it is so expensive. Sorry. Item is also quite heavy.
