Beautifully hand crafted and intricate, this unusual-style necklace is made of fine twisted wire and chips of obsidian.

The obsidian chips are a solid opaque black and each tiny piece is different in size and shape.

The necklace, made of coated wire threaded with obsidian chips and tiny black glass beads, measures about 15.5" (39cm). It has a 2" (5cm) chain (finished with a tiny metal heart), for adjustability, and a crab-claw fastener.

The centre of the 'rosette' is made of a cluster of tiny deep red garnet chips. The rosette measures about 2" (5cm) across and, as it is made of twisted wire, it can be 'fluffed up' or flattened out to suit.

 

This is a brand new piece of jewellery and would make a lovely gift.
