Delivery: We use the best 2 man home delivery service whom specialise in the delivery of furniture into the customers home. Items will be placed in the room of the customers choice.

Confirming delivery: All deliveries are booked in with our customers with at least 48 hours notice in advance of delivery. All customers will also be given a 2 hour time slot so that the delivery causes minimal disruption to our customers. If our customers are not able to take delivery on the given day for any reason they will be contacted again before the next delivery run in their area. Please note that all delivery timeslots are approximate and may change on the day due to any unforeseen circumstances, our customers will be informed of any vast delays on the day of delivery. Any deliveries which have been booked in and confirmed with customers are expected to be carried out; any failed deliveries will be charged at £25 to the customer.

Delivery lead times: As our products are sourced from different suppliers lead times do vary. The vast majority of orders placed with UKFurnitureSale are delivered within a week.

Delivery Charges: UKFurnitureSale charges offer free delivery on this item. This pricing structure is for UK mainland only however the following post codes are exempt from this, AB, KW, IV, PA and PH. All customers residing in areas that require an additional charge will be contacted once their order has been received.

Delivery vehicles: Our partners use 3.5 tonne Luton body vehicles for deliveries, these vehicles are typically 11ft tall and around 6’8” wide. It is therefore the customer’s responsibility to inform UKFurnitureSale or the delivery company during the booking in of delivery of any weight, height, width and parking restrictions so we can make the necessary arrangements.

During delivery: It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that firstly there is parking as close to the property as possible and that all walkways are clear to make the delivery as efficient as possible. Larger items which are to be delivered to any level other than the ground floor will be carried out if possible, however if the delivery team believe that there is risk of damage to the item, damage to the property or risk of injury to themselves they will only deliver the item to the ground floor. Rejected deliveries Items being signed for during delivery are being signed for in good condition. The customer has the right to check the item for any defects at the point of delivery and the delivery teams are able to assist in the unpacking of the item. If an item is returned at a later date for any damage a £25 pickup charge is levied to the customer.

Returns

UKFurnitureSale must be notified by email 7 days from receipt of the goods.  Items will be collected by the courier and a refund will be processed once the goods have been collected.  A deduction of £25 will be made for collection of the items.  Items can be returned by the customer themselves to our warehouse at no cost.  Items must be returned in the original packaging in the condition that they were delivered.

Damaged Items

Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the item by email.  A full description of any defect must be supplied.  Images may also be requested of any defect.  Exchanges will be carried out free of charge, the returned item must be packaged ready for collection when the delivery company deliver the new item.

Refunds for damaged items not requiring an exchange will be deducted £25 for collection by courier.  Damaged items may be returned by the customer to our warehouse free of charge.
