Arts & Crafts Influenced Oak Secretaire Bookcase / Bureau / Desk
This good quality Arts & Crafts influenced secretaire bookcase is a delightful piece of furniture, and it would make a very decorative addition to any room.
It has an arched top bevelled mirror back which is highlighted with superbly carved motifs that stand out with great effect, and an equally impressive design enhances the appearance of the fall. A stylish pierced brass handle is fitted to the fall, and the interior is fitted with several pigeon holes and a handy little drawer, while the polished reverse side of the fall provides a conveniently sized desk top.
The wonderfully fashioned sides which also form the legs really do emphasise the Arts & Crafts influence in the design of this piece, and the conveniently situated shelf has a nicely shaped front which provides yet more decorative appeal.
The condition is good, however there are some minor marks consistent with age to mention, notably to the top where there are also some ring marks, while the mirror has some small spots on it.
The height measures 54 1/2 inches.
The width measures 26 inches.
The depth measures 12 inches.
The height to the fall measures 29 1/2 inches each.

This item cannot be posted as it is too large and fragile. We carry out all deliveries in person, and each item of furniture is fully insured from the time of it's purchase to the time of it's delivery.
We deliver to most parts of mainland UK, but we advise that you request a quote for delivery before placing a bid or making a purchase so you are fully aware of the cost. We will combine multiple purchases to reduce delivery costs, and small items will go free with larger items.
