This outstanding Antique Style 'Country Oak' Glazed Bookcase is in Excellent Condition, as you will see on the images, having a very desirable Period Oak finish.

The long rectangular Solid Oak top surface, has a thumb nail moulded edge, with an inverted moulding to its underside. Below this are two panelled glass and oak doors, each one having traditional style brass 'H' hinges, with a single Oak turned handle and a revolving peg at the front (to hold the door shut). There are six glazed panels to each door with a further three glazed panels to each side, allowing loads of light into the displaying area, once again, All of the glass to each panel is in excellent condition!

The backboards of the Cabinet are Solid Oak to include the base boards at the bottom of the inside and the shaped bracket feet to the plinth is Solid Oak too. Both of the shelves are fully height adjustable having an Oak finish and sit comfortably onto the brass height adjusters at your chosen height which is perfect for larger books/ornaments that you may want to display.

The structure is both strong and very sturdy having wonderful lines, with an outstanding rich and warm Medium to Dark Oak colour to the whole piece. There are (purposely) polished in minor markings and distressing, to produce an authentic Antique look, that would be commenserate with age and use of an original piece, as you can see for yourself on the images. All in all, and as I am sure you will agree, it is in a Superb Condition that is suitable to go straight into the home or showroom, and ready for immediate use if desired.
