The Mercury Theater (19 shows) - aired from 1938 on CBS and included dramatic adaptations of literary works such as Dracula, A Tale Of Two Cities, The Count Of Monte Cristo and The War Of The Worlds.
The Campbell Playhouse (47 shows) - The Mercury Theatre renamed because of Campbell Soup's sponsorship. This produced some more classic dramas between 1938-1940 such as The Magnificent Ambersons (which Welles later filmed), Mutiny On The Bounty, A Christmas Carol, Beau Geste and Jane Eyre.

This Is My Best (9 shows) - Welles took over this short-lived show in 1945 which initially started life in 1944 as modern authors selecting their own writings. After just a few shows he was sacked for changing the format of the show, insisting on just adapting classics such as Heart Of Darkness and The Master Of Ballantrae.
The Lives Of Harry Lime (52 shows) - the complete run of shows from 1951-1952, Orson Welles reprised his role of Harry Lime from the celebrated 1949 film adaptation of Graham Greene's novel The Third Man. The radio series is a "prequel" to the film and again featured zither music from Anton Karas.
The Black Museum (51 shows) - Orson Welles hosted and narrated this 1952 series based on true-life murder/mystery cases from Scotland Yard's files.
