ORIGINAL LEGALIZE KISS 94FM BADGE
**BACK IN THE DAY**
Kiss FM originated in October 1985 as a pirate radio station broadcasting to London on 94 FM. It was hugely popular as a pirate channel, with around 500,000 listeners. Creator Gordon Mac teamed up with a club promoter to create the successful Kiss nights at the Wag Club which included the first ever Acid House party. Kiss went legitimate in 1990, but remained in the ownership of the DJs themselves who including Tim Westwood, Jonathan More and Norman Jay and others.
