8. Returns & Refunds:
 
Goods should be checked before signing for them.   Any items found to be faulty within 3 days after taking delivery must be reported to us within those 3 days to be eligible for a refund. Instructions will be given regarding return of goods.  A refund will only be issued once goods have been received back and tested.   Any goods which are subsequently found to be working without fault will not be refunded, but can be re delivered at the buyers expense.  Goods which are reported faulty after 3 days of delivery are not covered by a refund.  Unless stated otherwise, all goods are tested in full working order before despatch.
 
Certain items are excluded from our returns and refunds policy.  These include
 
•         Items described as UNTESTED, SOLD AS SEEN or SPARES / REPAIR
•         Hard Disk Drives and Installed Software (see note A)
•         Ink and Laser Toner Cartridges (Unless otherwise stated)
•         Computers with Driver related issues.  (see note B)
•         Printers with Driver related issues. (see note B)
 
Note A:  Pre installed software on any computer is provided ‘as is’, and is not included or covered in any form of warranty.  Hard Disk drives are excluded from our returns policy, as we cannot guarantee their lifespan or previous usage, UNLESS they are DOA, or stated as brand new.  In compliance with industry standards we destroy all data from previous users and do check the drives for obvious failures, however ‘bad blocks’ or slow access times are commonplace with older drives and we cannot protect against or prevent these. 
 
Note B: It is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain driver software for their computer.  We rarely fully install operating systems onto machines.  Often we will provide an OEM installation that requires the customer to enter their own legally obtained licence key, or to install their own operating system.  As every machine is different we cannot install drivers to cover all possible hardware combinations, and therefore take no responsibility for customers’ inability to locate and install the appropriate video, audio and network drivers.  Equally we do not provide printer drivers unless otherwise stated, although in 99% of cases it is easy to obtain these from the manufacturers’ website

Sometimes an item is bid on and won only to realise that it was a mistake on the buyers part. Our policy is flexible and we try to accommodate such mistakes. 
There may be an administrative charge of £10.
If the item was sent and the buyer realised that it was their error, then we will refund the selling price, not the postage, as long as the item is returned in the same condition it was sent.
Our listings are as accurate as possible. 
We encourage buyers to read ALL the listing and conditions.
