This is an original ACEO oil painting on heavy acid free Canson Canva-Paper. It is initialed on the front and signed and dated on the back.

All of my oil painting art cards are painted on 136 lb. acid free Canson Canva-Paper. The texture of this paper is similar to linen cloth. It is treated with a high performance barrier to absorb oil, bonding agents, and water evenly. It has excellent longevity.

The small easel shown, is not included. It is for display purposes only.

ACEO's (Art Cards Editions and Originals) are highly collectable and are made in many different mediums including, Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Colored Pencil, Pastels, Pen and Ink, and much more.

They can be displayed in decorative frames individually or in groups.

Self-Representing Artists

I feel that creating art is an exploration into my thoughts and feelings of what I see and imagine. I often resist the temptation of including unnecessary detail so that the viewer can be involved in the work. I feel that an overworked piece gives the viewer nothing to do…nothing to figure out.

I like to reach the point where the artwork seems to take on a life of it’s own. It’s at that point that I know I’m on the right track. Its like seeing the history of the piece unfold through the working and reworking of its different stages.

I paint mainly with oils.

I also love to draw, which is, incidentally, the beginning of my artistic life. I particularly like to use charcoals, graphite pencil, colored pencil and ink. I believe the composition, color, light transformation, and harmony are the most important things to achieve a successful work of art.
