About Us

We're a genuine UK company based in Essex offering quality items at prices far cheaper than the high street. We spend many weeks of the year visiting factories all over the world to check pricing, quality and saftey standards to ensure we are giving genuine value for money. We are very proud to have be chosen by Tamoretti and ZNEN scooters to represent them in the UK as the sole importer. You can be assured that we will always go the extra mile to get the job done. Payment

We accept payment by: Credit or Debit Card, Paypal, Postal Orders, Cash, Bank Transfer, All Auction and "Buy It Now" prices include VAT. Please note that we will not send out goods until funds are clear.

OTHER ITEMS
We aim to get all items sent out the same day for next working day delivery. Items ordered on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. As we use a 3rd party courier to deliver our items, we will not be held responsible if your item takes longer than expected. The courier company will make 2 attempts to deliver your goods, if you are out on both occasions they will charge you again to re-deliver. Please make sure someone will be at the delivery address. 
SCOOTERS
We charge a delivery fee of £50 if you live within 50 miles of our showroom. If you live outside of this radius, please contact us first with your postal code so we can give you an exact delivery cost. We aim to deliver all sold scooters within 7 days, but this is not always possible if we are waiting for registrations to come back from the DVLA. 
We DO NOT charge any extra if you wish to collect your items from us.

Scooter warranty

We will warrant any product for 12 months on a return to base basis (unless otherwise stated). A part that has failed due to a manufacturing defect will be replaced free of charge once you return the part to us. Items not covered under our warranty include those damaged by misuse, neglect or a collision. Also parts which have a lifespan based on usage and are expected to be replaced during normal service are not covered. Examples of such parts include, but are not limited to tyres, tubes, brake shoes and pads, batteries, bulbs, filters, spark plugs. Most vehicles as standard will be supplied with a 12 months parts only warranty. You can also take advantage of FREE roadside assistance cover through our recommended insurers, Rampdale Insurance on 0870 444 6125 (an insurance policy must be taken out with Rampdale to take advantage of this amazing offer).  Our standard warranty does not include labour or transportation costs, so please bear this in mind when you make your purchase.

Why buy from us?

Scooter Central has built a solid foundation for itself with Tamoretti and ZNEN scooters. We offer an excellent service and parts support to reinforce quality. We have priced our vehicles carefully. Avoid buying 'cheap' elsewhere, the vehicle itself may appear to be cheaper but will it last the test of time? It will not be such a good deal if you need to replace it after 6 months! Our parts department is probably one of the largest in th UK with over 10,000 various components available straight from the shelf, we are proud that we are able to provide parts for the scooters and motorcycles we sell in the UK. We are constantly striving to improve our systems and procedures here so that ordering parts is as easy as ordering a scooter or motorcycle.
