Welcome to my auction for Madeline, a one of a kind little girl. My name is Kristina Reid and I make babies out of polymer clay. I have been sculpting a little more than a year and a half, and I love creating dolls with my own hands. I hope you enjoy your visit and the many pictures of little Madeline.

Unless otherwise stated, all the pictures in this auction were taken in natural daylight, but not necessarily at the same time of the day or in the same location, which accounts for the slight differences in colour and light you might see.

This beautiful baby was made entirely by me from ProSculpt polymer clay without the use of any molds. One of a kind sculpt as she is, she has some small flaws and imperfections, but nothing that would detract from her overall quality and uniqueness.

Madeline is a partial sculpt. She has a jointed doe suede body made by me. Her limbs are ¾ length and not overstuffed, so they are quite poseable. Her head can be gently rotated from side to side. Her hair is dark brown mohair rooted into her head and she has dark brown glass eyes.

Madeline is 9 inches long and weighs approximately 1 pound without her clothes.

Madeline has been painted with my own mixture of paints. Her lips and nails are sealed with satin varnish.

Madeline is wearing a hand knitted mauve dress, hat and booties and a white broadcloth onesie.

Madeline will arrive at her new home with the clothes shown here as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by me. She also brings along her fringed mauve and white blanket and her little toy dog. Everything else is a prop and not part of this auction.

If this one of a kind little girl has tugged at your heart strings, don't let her slip away. There will never be another one exactly like her.

I stand behind my work 100%. I have provided several accurate close up pictures of the doll which should give you a good idea of what you are buying. If I have misrepresented any part of the doll, I will give a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping, provided you contact me within 48 hours of receipt of the doll and return it to me, at your expense, in the same condition I sent it.

Please note that this doll is not a toy or a playdoll and should never be given to children. Because she is made of polymer clay, her head and limbs are not soft and pliable like a vinyl doll's. If handled roughly or dropped she could break.

Shipping info

All orders are shipped from Canada via Canada Post. I usually ship the next day after payment has cleared, except on weekends and Canadian holidays when our postal system is shut off. I am not responsible for and have no control over the speed or slowness of the postal delivery system, either in Canada or in the buyer's country. The shipping time can be anywhere from about a week to several weeks, depending on where you live and what shipping method is used.

Payment to be made within 3 days of close of auction. Please note that all potential customs, brokerage and other cross border fees are entirely the responsibility of the buyer. If the shipping charge seems high then it is because the shipping charge as set by Canada Post is high. I don't have any control over that either. I do not pad the amount, you pay what I pay and sometimes less than it costs me. I always include insurance.
