The starting bid for this Holiday Package is £ 730.00.

The following options can be added to the package at an extra cost. 

J Option 1) Half Board:  you can choose to include dinners at your holyday package at an extra cost of £20 P/P per Day. 

J Option2) Full Board: you can choose to include breakfasts, lunches and dinners at you holiday package at an extra cost of £38 P/P per Day.   

J Option 3) Gastronomic Tour:  It includes a 3 days dinning - out tour in 4 different specially selected local restaurants. You will be toured by en expert Guide who will let you test all local specialties and precious food.  Add this option at your Holyday package for an extra £100 P/P.

J Option 4) Wine Tour:  It includes a 3 days guided wine – testing tour in 3 different wineries including the famous Brunello Di Montalcino.  Add this option at your Holyday package for an extra £80 P/P.

J Option 5) Tourist Guide:  get yourself toured!!  An expert Guide will take you to see the best and more exciting parts of the local area including Siena and Florence.  Add this option at your Holyday package for an extra £100 per Day.

J Option 6) Car rental:  our local car rental office will search for you the most economical car.  Although prices may vary according to Holyday periods the average price for a class “A” car stars at £30 per Day.

PLEASE NOTE:  1) You can decide to add the following options once you arrive at the resort.  Your are NOT bound to these options and no payments are required. 2) Option 1, 2, 5 and 6 can be either chosen for the full duration of the Holyday or in preselected days only. 

About The Place

Cmapagnatico is a typical Italian medieval village immersed in the green hills in rural Tuscany and surrounded by endless vineyards and immense olive fields.  The Village offers to its visitors a genuine taste of this part of Tuscany and distinguishes itself from other places in Tuscany by offering a cozy and a friendly atmosphere.   Visitors are usually attracted by the marvel location of the place that presents picturesque views of its valleys, moreover its evocative medieval architectonical structure surrounded by Roman churches, Etruscan ruins and narrow alleys makes the village a perfect place for sightseeing.    The tranquil countryside crisscrossed by hundreds of pathways with its uncontaminated nature make the village an ideal place for walking groups and for all those who want to experience a totally relaxing Holiday.  Throughout the year there are several festivals, many of which are really popular within the local community and the nearby areas.  The Donkey Race Festival for instance that is held every year on the 8^th September is very well known in the entire region.  

Eating in Campagnatico

Food in Campagnatico is a really big thing.  People there are proud of the local cuisine and believe that there are not better place in Tuscany where to eat.  The village s’ gastronomic culture is strongly affected by the Village’s geographic location, situated in the heart of an hunting area game dishes such as while boar, pheasant and hare are considered local specialties.   Although for the Villagers game food is proudly embedded in the local eating culture they do understand that not everyone loves this peculiar food, especially tourists, therefore, off course other food is available.  There are four restaurants in the Village and each of them offers a different style of cuisine. You may love to choose a pizza from the vast variety offered at the local pizzeria or you may want a nice vegetarian dish made with fresh local vegetable at the Glicine restaurant or you maybe up for a juicy steak at the Poggio Caiano restaurant – take your pick!  If you are a bit stingy about money there are three supermarkets and two bakeries where you can buy groceries and local made products.   Every year Campagnatico attracts many tourists from allover the world becoming an increasingly important Holiday destination.  Actors such as Alan Rickman have been amused by this place and he has now bought a holiday home in the Village.

 Drinking in Campagnatico

There is not much to say about drinking as in the area there is so much wine that you could bath every night.   Campagnatico is in the heart of a valuable winery area and its locally produced wines are well known in the entire region.  Moreover the village borders with the famous Chianti area that makes Campagnatico‘s wines even more precious.  In the local characteristic wine shop you can find hundreds of different wines to fulfill any taste.   There are two bars where you can drink a nice cappuccino or a delicious espresso accompanied with local made croissant wile you are sitting out roasting your cheeks under the sun.  One of the bars is open till late at night so if you can’t sleep you know where to go to get drunk.

Traveling

Campagnatico is on a perfect location to reach the most popular destinations in the region such as Florence that is only under 1 hour drive away or the beautiful city of Siena which is located at 55 km from the Village.  There are spectacular beaches at less than 20 minutes drive away or if you are there in the winter and you love skiing there are ski resorts at 40km from the Village.  Busses run regularly to Grosseto, Siena and Florence and the main railway station in Grosseto can be reached by car in less than 15 min.

Option 1):   One – off payment.   Auction Winner pay the entire Holliday cost in one –off payment.

                     This option entitles the auction winner to a 5% off the final price (winning bid).

Option 2):   Breakdown Payment. Auction winner can pay a deposit of £ 200.00 and pay the remaining                 

                     outstanding balance once arrived at the Holiday Resort.

All the following payment methods are accepted: PayPal, Bank Transfer and Cheque.  Please note: if you pay by cheque I will not book and confirm the Holiday until the cheque is cleared.
