An official programme for a College football game

MISSISSIPPI v LOUISIANA TECH.

At the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Oxford, Mississippi

Saturday 4th November, 1992

A4 size. 64 pages. Full colour.

 

This programme is for the game I went to see in 1992 when on a 3 month trip of the US between jobs. Every weekend, I watched a College game on the Saturday and an NFL game on the Sunday.

As the top of the cover denotes, the day of this game was Band day which meant that the massive stadium car park was taken over by the top 20 High School marching bands in the state of Mississippi. The bands then all performed on the pitch during half time. It was quite a sight.

Hopefully, a new owner of this programme might be inspired to go and see the Rebels themselves in the heart of the American South.

This programme is a nice piece of memorabilia suitable for any fan of American Sports, but especially

- American Football fans

- College football fans

- Programme collectors 

- Fans/Alumni of the Ole Miss

- Fans/Alumni of the Louisiana Tech.
